01

Build a small, purposeful deck

Skipping a card is a real choice. Add cards that solve an immediate weakness or strengthen the engine you already have.

  • Remove weak starter attacks when your damage engine is established.
  • Prioritize one reliable damage plan and one defensive plan.
  • Upgrade cards that change cost, draw, or scaling before minor number upgrades.
02

Spend health to gain power

Health is a route-planning resource. Elites, upgrades and card removal usually create more long-term value than an overly safe path.

  • Check the full map before choosing the first node.
  • Carry potions into elites, then actually use them.
  • Rest when the next dangerous fight can kill you; otherwise upgrade.
03

Read the fight before playing

Enemy intent determines whether this turn is for setup, defense or lethal damage.

  • Calculate lethal before committing energy to block.
  • Play scaling effects early when the fight will last.
  • Kill enemies that grow stronger before passive targets.
