Know the four-action threat set
Hexaghost combines single hits, a two-hit attack, a heavy strike that adds three Wounds, and a Prepare action that gains Strength.
- Weak is especially valuable against the two-hit attack.
- Keep enough block or a defensive potion for the heavy strike.
- Strength gain creates a clock, so pure stalling is not a complete plan.
Build a fast, stable first cycle
The deck needs useful plays before all powers and long-term engines are assembled. One compact damage package is safer than several unfinished themes.
- Upgrade the card that most improves the opening cycle.
- Retain a burst potion if the deck takes too long to reach damage.
- Avoid adding slow setup cards at the final rewards before the boss.
Plan around Wound pollution
Three Wounds in the discard pile reduce the quality of later hands. The longer the fight lasts, the more important draw and Exhaust become.
- Accelerate the reshuffle only when the next cycle can still defend.
- Use targeted Exhaust on Wounds when it also advances the engine.
- Convert a safe turn after Prepare into damage before Strength compounds.
